Hospitality Excellence Award nominations are now open for the International Falls, Ranier, and Rainy Lake area. This award recognizes someone who helps visitors, customers, and residents feel welcome through outstanding service and genuine care.
Hospitality is at the heart of what makes the Rainy Lake area such a special place to visit and to call home. Every day, people across the community create positive, memorable experiences. Because of that, the International Falls, Ranier & Rainy Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to help recognize that work.
The Hospitality Excellence Award recognizes one of those people. This award celebrates an individual who consistently goes above and beyond to create positive, memorable experiences in the International Falls, Ranier, and Rainy Lake area.
Hospitality Excellence Award Nominations
The International Falls, Ranier & Rainy Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau is pleased to partner with the International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce to present the award at the Annual Chamber Gala on April 23 at the Thunderbird.
The CVB and Chamber are accepting individual nominations through March 18, 2026.
Who the Award Recognizes
The Hospitality Excellence Award honors an individual who consistently goes above and beyond for others. A strong nominee may serve visitors, customers, residents, coworkers, or the broader community. The Hospitality Excellence Award is meant for someone whose service helps people feel welcome in the Rainy Lake area.
This person should demonstrate outstanding service, professionalism, and dedication. In addition, their work should help create welcoming experiences that leave a lasting impression.
The award also recognizes the role hospitality plays in shaping the area’s reputation. When people feel welcomed, they remember the community and are more likely to return, recommend it, and speak positively about their experience. Because of that, this hospitality award gives the community a simple way to recognize meaningful service.
How to Submit a Nomination
Community members and visitors can submit a nomination online. You can also pick up forms at the CVB/Chamber office at 301 2nd Avenue in International Falls.
You can submit completed forms by email or drop them off in person. Please submit your nomination by March 18, 2026.
