Riverside Park

Located along the Rainy River, Riverside Park offers a quiet riverside setting in International Falls

Park Features & Amenities

  • Dog-friendly: Dog waste stations with bags and trash cans are available. All dogs must be kept on a leash.
  • Footpaths to the river: A few informal footpaths lead down to the Rainy River. These routes are uneven and lightly maintained, with steep sections in places—use caution.
  • Fishing access: The riverbank provides easy access for anglers. Riverside Park is a common spot for fishing, with opportunities to catch walleye and smallmouth bass.

Park Maintenance

Riverside Park is managed by the City of International Falls. While general park upkeep is provided, the footpaths to the river are not actively managed, so conditions may vary and can be challenging for some visitors.

Tip: Wear sturdy footwear if you plan to explore the river access paths, especially after rain or during spring runoff.
