Big Falls Horse Camp is a rider-friendly camping option located in Koochiching County, 40 miles south of the Rainy Lake area. Set along the Bigfork River, the camp offers six dedicated horse sites with tether lines, electric and water hookups, picnic tables, and fire pits. Guests have access to the shower house at the nearby main campground.
Riders can explore more than 30 miles of marked multi-use trails, plus miles of additional forest routes through northern Minnesota’s wilderness. Camping is available May–October, with reservations accepted up to one year in advance. Nightly sites are $35.
